Stacy Orloff

SVP, Community Services at Empath Health

Stacy Orloff, EdD, LCSW, ACHP-SW, is the Vice President of Innovation and Community Health for Empath Health. She is responsible for the leadership of all pediatric programs and services offered throughout the care continuum, the community bereavement program, and EPIC, an HIV and LGBTQ affiliate organization. She began her career at Empath Health in 1990 and was promoted to Vice President in 2007. Stacy has more than 31 years of palliative and end-of-life experience and has held numerous positions within Empath Health, including manager of the Child and Family Support Program and the Director of Palliative Care. Prior to joining Empath, Stacy had a private family therapy practice. She has a doctorate degree in Organizational Leadership and a Master's in Social Work. Stacy has been involved in state and national efforts, working to develop new policies and programs, including Medicaid waiver programs to raise the standards of care for pediatric hospice patients. She serves on several state and national coalitions. She is a member of the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization, Social Work in Hospice and Palliative Care Network, and the American Academy of Hospice Palliative Medicine. Stacy is the editor of the Reflections section for the Social Work in End-of-Life and Palliative Care Journal and reviews manuscripts for Omega, the Journal of Death and Dying.
