Rafael Bucker

Rafael Bucker has a strong background in product design, with experience in various leadership roles. Most recently, they served as the Principal Product Designer at Employbridge. Prior to that, Rafael was the Director of Product Design at Addi, where they led a team of 6 product designers and played a key role in shaping the company's product design strategy. Before Addi, Rafael held the position of Senior Director of Product Design at Actabl, where they created the foundations for the Actabl Design System. Rafael also has experience at ALICE - Hospitality Operations Platform, where they served as the Director of Product Design and led the UX design for the ALICE Housekeeping pod, which received recognition and awards. In addition, Rafael has worked as a Creative Director at Bucker & Co., where they managed and grew a client base of 20+ projects, and as a Visual and Web Designer at Imaginatto Design & Marketing. Rafael began their career as a Visual Designer at Vale.

Rafael Bucker earned a Bachelor's degree in Visual and Industrial Design from Escola Superior de Desenho Industrial – ESDI, completing their studies between 2005 and 2009. In addition, they obtained certifications in "Emerging Leaders - Leadership Training" from Eager Labs and "Leading Design Teams" from Aprender Design in 2021.
