Position Overview: The Vice President of Business Development & Sales will drive the infrastructure of our business development vertical, forging strategic partnerships, deploying sales efforts, and establishing a robust sales pipeline. This role is crucial to our company's growth, and we're seeking an experienced leader who can help us scale rapidly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Identify partnership opportunities and negotiate favorable terms to drive revenue and user growth.
  • Team Building: Hire, train, and mentor an exceptional sales team, ensuring they have the tools and motivation to succeed.
  • Market Analysis: Continuously assess the competitive landscape and market conditions to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships, understanding their needs and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the product, marketing, and customer success teams to align strategies and drive growth.
  • Sales Forecasting: Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and reporting to the executive team.
  • Sales Leadership: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
  • Process Optimization: Implement best practices and tools for maximum efficiency and scalability in sales operations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of sales experience, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Proven experience in scaling sales teams and achieving revenue growth in a SaaS environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence at all levels of an organization.
  • Strong business acumen and industry expertise.
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM software ([specific software, e.g., "Salesforce"]) and sales analytics tools.
