John D. Lin

John D. Lin is a Biomedical Data Scientist II at Emulate, Inc. since November 2022. Prior experience includes a Software Verification Engineering Internship at Axonics, Inc., where John designed unsupervised learning algorithms for anomaly detection and automated device data collection and analysis. John also served as a Bioinformatics Research Intern at UC San Diego's Center for Computational Biology & Bioinformatics, focusing on multi-omics analysis and RNA-seq data. At the Salk Institute, John managed genome editing experiments in induced pluripotent stem cells, and at UC San Diego Health, John implemented text mining algorithms for medication extraction from biomedical literature. John holds a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Science in Bioinformatics from UC San Diego.
