Austin Bensend

Austin Bensend has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Austin began their career in 2004 as a Student Engineer Trainee at the Wisconsin Department of Transportation. In 2005, they worked as a Civil Engineering Intern at Cooper Engineering Company, Inc. Moving forward, they joined Permasteelisa North America in 2006, starting as a Structural Engineer before being promoted to Senior Structural Engineer in 2010. Austin then transitioned to Enclos in 2013, where they held various positions including Senior Design Engineer, Executive Design Engineer, and currently, Director of Design Engineering.

Austin Bensend earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Civil Engineering from Michigan Technological University, where they studied from 2002 to 2006. Additionally, they obtained a Professional Engineer (PE) certification from the Minnesota Board of AELSLAGID in July 2010. Austin also pursued a Professional Engineer (PE) certification from various institutions such as the California Department of Consumer Affairs, New York State Education Department, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation, and Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors, although the specific dates of obtaining these certifications are unknown. Furthermore, Austin pursued a Structural Engineer (SE) certification from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation and the California Department of Consumer Affairs, although the dates of obtaining these certifications are also unknown.
