Ryan Barker

Ryan Barker is a scientist who currently works at Encodia. Ryan has previous experience working at Dart NeuroScience LLC and Kestrel Biosciences. Ryan received their graduate degree from San Diego State University in 2010 and interned at Receptos, Inc. from February to November of that same year. Their responsibilities at Dart NeuroScience LLC included large-scale expression of bacterial cell lines in preparation for crystallization studies, verifying protein expression levels and protein solubility, and optimizing expression when necessary. Ryan also has experience with large scale purification using various affinity resins and AKTA purifier systems. At Kestrel Biosciences, they obtained the skills necessary for Lateral Flow Immunoassay development and optimization.

Ryan Barker has a Master of Science in Chemistry with an Emphasis in Biochemistry from San Diego State University. Ryan also has a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with an Emphasis in Biochemistry from San Diego State University.
