Anna Hjelmeland

Anna Hjelmeland has extensive work experience in the field of analytical chemistry. Anna is currently employed at Endless West as the Analytical Chemistry Manager, starting in May 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Demetrix, where they held various roles including Associate Director of Analytical Chemistry and High Throughput Screening from June 2022 to September 2022, and Associate Director of Analytical Chemistry from July 2019 to June 2022. Anna was also the Head Of Analytics at Demetrix from November 2017 to May 2019. Before their time at Demetrix, Anna worked at Agilent Technologies as a Postdoctoral Fellow from April 2016 to October 2017. Anna also gained experience as a Postdoctoral Scholar at UC Davis from May 2015 to March 2016, and as a Graduate Student from 2009 to May 2015.

Anna Hjelmeland attended the University of California, Davis from 1998 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Anna continued their education at the same university from 2009 to 2015, earning a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Agricultural and Environmental Chemistry.
