Taehyeong Gu

Taehyeong Gu has worked in a variety of roles since 2009. Taehyeong began as a Signaller in the Republic of Korea Army in 2009. In 2014, they worked as a Student Intern at AICT (Advanced Institute of Convergence and Technology) where they developed a multi-speed in-wheel drive system and controlled a nonholonomic robot. Taehyeong then worked as a Student Intern at Seoul National University from 2015 to 2018. In 2018, they took on a role as a Research Engineer at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth). Most recently, they have been a Robotics Software Engineer at EndoQuest Robotics\u2122 since 2020.

Taehyeong Gu obtained their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Ajou University in 2016. Taehyeong then attended Seoul National University and received their Master's degree in the Department of Transdisciplinary Studies in 2018. In 2014, they were an exchange student at Hochschule Schmalkalden.
