Joost Went

Joost Went has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Joost started their career at Decos as a trainee, where they developed Decos Document - Work Station and continued to work part-time to support and maintain the product. Joost then became a full-time Software Engineer at Decos, focusing on the development of Decos Document - web edition. Joost later took on the role of Team Manager in the Product Development department at Decos, managing a team of engineers in the Netherlands and India. As the company evolved, they transitioned to the position of Software Architect, responsible for new releases and the cloud strategy of the JOIN Suite. Joost also served as the Technical Director and Co-Founder of OfficeCom B.V., where they worked on automating interactions between financial administration/accountancy offices and their clients. Joost joined Capgemini as a Managing Software Engineer, where they broadened their network and focused on Azure technologies. Joost then took on the role of Technical Lead at Eneco, overseeing a development team and delivering integrations between Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE and other applications. Currently, Joost is working as a Team Manager of CRM Integration Development at UWV, leading a team responsible for integrating Microsoft Dynamics CRM with the existing UWV back-office applications.

Joost Went attended Teylingen College - Leeuwenhorst Noordwijkerhout from 1993 to 1999, where they obtained a VWO degree. Joost then enrolled at De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences from 1999 to 2003, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Informatica & Informatiekunde. Additionally, Joost obtained various certifications throughout their career, including ArchiMate, SAFe, Microsoft Azure, Docker, Xamarin, Elasticsearch, and Microsoft DevOps Engineer Expert.
