David Sobernheim's work experience includes a range of leadership roles in the energy and technology sectors.
Beginning in 1988, David started their career at Chevron as a Summer Reservoir Engineer, where they evaluated a producing well for conversion to injection.
David then joined Schlumberger in various roles, including WS/DCS Engineering Advisor, WS/DCS Stimulation Domain Manager, and Marketing Communications Manager, where they played a crucial role in digitalization systems and developed integrated petro-technical workflows.
Next, David worked at RockPile Energy as the Vice President of Engineering, contributing to the successful exit of the company.
David later joined Keane Group as the Executive Vice President of Engineering and Technology, focusing on excellence in services and equipment in the E&P space.
In 2019, David co-founded LuxTronic Corporation, a start-up that applied AI and machine vision for edge computing applications.
Currently, they serve as the Chief Operating Officer at Energera Inc, where they have developed long and short-range strategic objectives for the Energera group of companies and led various technology brands.
Throughout their career, David has consistently achieved profitable results, generated superior growth, and played pivotal roles in the development and application of cutting-edge technologies.
David Sobernheim attended the Colorado School of Mines from 1984 to 1988, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Petroleum Engineering. In 2001, they pursued further education at The University of Texas at Austin, earning a Master of Science (MS) degree in Petroleum and Geoscience Engineering, which they completed in 2004. In 2020, they also obtained a Certificate in Full Stack Developer, Computer/Information Technology, Administration, and Management from the University of Denver.
