Padraig Curran

Padraig Curran is a GIRS Accredited Gas Design Engineer with over 17 years of experience in designing gas distribution networks in the UK. Currently serving as a GIRS TA Gas Engineer at Energetics since January 2023, Padraig has held various significant roles including Head of MU Design and Design & Estimating Manager at Energy Assets from June 2017 to December 2022. Previous experience includes positions as a Senior Design Engineer at Northern Gas Networks and United Utilities, where Padraig managed engineering teams to deliver numerous projects in regulated gas connections. Earlier career roles included Design Engineer positions at Fulcrum Connections and National Grid Transco. Padraig holds a BEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Dundee, obtained in 1999.
