Simone Boninsegni

Simone Boninsegni has a wealth of experience in the mechanical design field. Simone has been working in this area since 2003, beginning with their role as a Project Engineer at Scuderia Moto Mugello. During this time, they developed experience in the motorcycling sector and performed design of 125 GP chassis, calculations, and finite elements. Simone also conducted experimental analyses with onboard extensometers to assess real loads on the frame and began to work with data acquired from onboard telemetry. In 2004, they took on the role of Head of Motorcycle R&D Department at CRP. Then, from 2010-2016, they held the roles of Technical Manager at Ancillotti Motorcycles and Project Manager/Technical Manager at FribaRacingGroup. During this time, they utilized rapid prototyping and reverse engineering methods for both competitive vehicle development and product design. Theirexpertise in these technologies, combined with their experience in the national speed championship and world championship, has enabled him to devise methods and procedures to maintain a close relationship between the design phase and the evolution of the project.

Simone Boninsegni obtained a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Università degli Studi di Firenze in 2003, having started their studies there in 1993.
