Alexs Thompson

Alexs Thompson has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. They have most recently worked as a Senior Director of Analytics at Energizer Holdings since September 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Director of Data Strategy at O'Reilly Auto Parts from November 2020 to August 2021. They also have experience at Hallmark Cards, where they served as an Analytics Strategy Leader from August 2019 to October 2020, a Data Engineering Leader from November 2017 to October 2020, and a Data Scientist from September 2015 to November 2017. They have also held positions at the KC Augmented Intelligence Lab, the Federal Emergency Management Agency, Praescient Analytics, Berico Technologies, IDS International, DAI, and SOSI, where they served in various leadership and advisory roles.

Alexs Thompson received a Ph.D. in Middle Eastern/Religious Studies from the University of Chicago in 2014. They also obtained an M.S. in Geochemistry from the University of Illinois Chicago from 2004 to 2007. In 2019, they completed the Aresty Institute of Executive Education program in Organizational Leadership at The Wharton School. In addition to their degrees, they have certifications in R Programming and The Data Scientist's Toolbox from Coursera Verified Certificates.
