Daniel Lawless

Daniel Lawless has had extensive work experience in regulatory affairs, compliance engineering, and systems operations. Daniel most recently served as the Vice President of Systems Operations and Regulatory Affairs at Energous Corporation since 2018. Prior to that, Lawless worked at Broadcom Limited for several years, holding positions such as Director of Engineering, Systems Operations and Sr. Manager, Compliance Engineering - Systems Operations. Daniel was responsible for managing international engineering teams, driving production of data center and wireless product lines, and ensuring operational excellence in partnership with various departments. Lawless also worked at Wi-Fi Alliance as the Vice Chair of the Regulatory Task Group from 2010 to 2013, and served on the Board of Directors at TCB Council, Inc. from 2009 to 2011. Daniel gained experience in global regulatory approval campaigns and product line management while working at 3Com as a Manager/Program Manager, Regulatory Affairs and Approvals from 2000 to 2003. Earlier in their career, Lawless worked at Compliance International as an Engineering Project Manager, where they led regulatory approval programs and engaged with a Tier 1 customer base in the Asia-Pacific region.

Daniel Lawless obtained their Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from San Jose State University, where they studied from 1992 to 1997. Daniel also pursued additional certifications in various fields. These include "Global Diplomacy - Diplomacy in the Modern World" from the University of London, obtained in September 2021, "Policy for Science, Technology and Innovation" from MITx Courses, obtained in March 2021, "Lean Six Sigma in Manufacturing" from Aveta Business Institute, obtained in April 2020, and "Six Sigma and the Organization (Advanced)" from the University System of Georgia, obtained in April 2020. In addition to their formal education, Daniel Lawless also completed Management Coaching and Leadership Training at CTI, although specific dates and degree information for this program are not provided.
