Paolo Chavez

Paolo Chavez, MD, MPM-HSD, is a highly experienced medical professional currently serving as the Head of Occupational Health at Energy Development Corporation since March 2022, where expertise is provided on occupational health, clinical medical care, and global health issues across various company sites. Previously, Paolo Chavez held roles as the Head of COVID Corporate Health Operations at Energy Development Corporation and served as a Senior Scientific Researcher/Physician for the World Health Organization's COVID-19 Vaccine Solidarity Trial. Additional experience includes working as a Primary Care Physician at Innovations for Community Health, and as Executive Assistant to the Undersecretary of Health for the Department of Health in the Philippines. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine degree from Saint Louis University and a Master of Public Management focused on Health Systems Development from the Development Academy of the Philippines.
