Richard O'Connor

Richard O'Connor has significant experience in the energy and nuclear sectors, currently serving as the Director of Fleet M&T Training at Vistra Corp. since March 2024. O'Connor has been with Energy Harbor since June 2020, initially as Training Manager and currently as Corporate Functional Area Manager in Operations, with responsibilities at the Perry Nuclear Power Plant. Earlier roles include Manager of Site Projects at the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations, and a variety of positions at FirstEnergy from 2010 to 2018, including ERO Manager and Shift Manager, demonstrating a comprehensive background in nuclear operations and training management.
