Geoff Roberts has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Geoff started their career at Tourism and Events Queensland as an Operations/Group Financial Manager for six years. In 2006, they joined Energex, where they held various managerial positions, including General Manager Customer Contact & Customer Operations Manager. Geoff then became an Apprentice Manager responsible for a workforce of up to 300 field-based employees. Geoff also served as the HR Manager/Field Services Manager/General Manager Business Support. In their most recent role, Geoff joined Energy Queensland as the Project Management Lead, where they lead a team of Project Managers and oversees the delivery of electrical and property projects. Additionally, they have been involved in business integration and organizational transformation activities within the company.
Geoff Roberts completed a Bachelor of Organisational Leadership from the University of New England (AU) from 2016 to 2019. In addition, they obtained a Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety from Workplace Dimensions in 2016. Geoff also pursued a Diploma of Business (HR) and a Diploma of Management from the Australian Institute of Management, although the specific years of completion for these degrees are not provided.
