Dan Berggren

Dan Berggren has extensive work experience in the field of IT and finance. Dan is currently working as a Principal Specialist SAP IT at Energy Transfer since 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Marathon Oil Corporation from 2014 to 2020, where they held the role of Advanced Senior IT Systems Analyst in the IT Finance and Accounting department. Dan collaborated with business users to support and enhance SAP financial applications and mentored team members to improve support capacity. Before that, Dan worked at Wipro Technologies/SAIC as the SAP Finance and Treasury Team Lead from 2004 to 2014, where they managed a team of onshore and offshore resources supporting various SAP modules. Dan ensured service delivery that exceeded contractual service level agreements. Dan also has experience working at IBM as an ERP Systems and Business Process Consultant from 1997 to 2004, where they led the sub-teams for SAP R/3 implementation projects. Dan recommended and implemented process improvements for asset accounting. Prior to that, they worked as a Forecast Analyst at Transocean Offshore in 1996 and as an Experienced Staff Auditor at Arthur Andersen LLP from 1994 to 1996. Dan began their career as a Financial Analyst at Texaco Inc., where they performed revenue accounting and financial analysis tasks.

Dan Berggren holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Accounting from the University of Houston, C.T. Bauer College of Business, which they obtained from 1992 to 1994. Dan also has a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Finance from The University of Texas at Austin, attained between 1984 and 1988. Furthermore, Dan has acquired various certifications throughout their career, including being a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the State of Texas.
