Richard Bryce

Richard Bryce has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. Richard is currently serving as the Chief Medical Officer at enGene since September 2023. Prior to this, they held the same position at Rain Therapeutics from April 2021 to June 2023. From August 2017 to April 2021, Richard worked as the Chief Medical and Scientific Officer at Puma Biotechnology, Inc. Before that, they held the role of Senior Vice President of Clinical Research & Development at Puma Biotechnology from June 2012 to July 2017. Richard also served as a Senior Medical Director at Onyx Pharmaceuticals from August 2008 to June 2012, and at ICON plc from August 2007 to September 2008. Richard was the CSO at ERGOMED CLINICAL RESEARCH from 2005 to 2007. Richard held the position of International Medical Leader at Roche from April 2003 to May 2005. Richard began their career as a Senior Medical Director at Ilex Oncology, and later became the Group Medical Director at Scotia Pharmaceuticals Ltd from 1994 to 2001.

Richard Bryce attended The University of Edinburgh from 1975 to 1978, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Medical Sciences. Following this, they continued their education at The University of Edinburgh from 1975 to 1981, studying Medicine and earning an MBChB degree.
