Andy Giffen has a diverse work experience spanning from 2000 to the present. Andy started their career as a Web Developer and Content Manager at Snap Design. Andy then worked as a Web Developer and Content Manager at the University of Ottawa and later transitioned to becoming a Web Developer and Programmer. At Agriculture Canada, Andy served as a Web Publishing Coordinator, managing and updating web content. As an IT Administrator and Webmaster at the Canadian Library Association, they implemented a content management system and provided hardware and software recommendations. At (C) Systems, LLC, they held the role of Web Services Support Specialist, managing multiple projects and delivering high-value customer service. As the Director of IT and IT Manager at Specialty Technical Publishers, they designed and developed online publication delivery tools and implemented a CRM system. Andy then joined Intelex Technologies Inc. as a Senior Product Manager and later became a Partner Enablement Manager. Andy co-founded Flusher, a startup focused on building tools to help vulnerable individuals access washroom facilities. Currently, they are working at Enhesa as the Head of Product Management and previously served as Interim CTO and Business Relations Manager. Overall, Andy has extensive experience in web development, IT management, and product management.
Andy Giffen attended the University of Ottawa from 2001 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree in eBusiness. In 2015, they also earned a certification as a Certified Scrum Product Owner from the Scrum Alliance.
