Joan Gares

Joan Gares, BSN, RN, CDP, CMDCP, is a skilled nursing professional with extensive experience in memory care and healthcare management. Since July 2023, Joan serves as the Director of Health and Wellness for Memory Care at Assisted Living. Concurrently, since November 2020, Joan has held the position of Director of Nursing/Care Service Manager at Enlivant. Previous roles include Registered Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse at LTC/SNF Continuum Healthcare and LPN Weekend Supervisor at Birches of Newtown. Joan's expertise encompasses medication administration, wound care, interdisciplinary communication, and staff training. Joan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Grand Canyon University and an ADN from Jersey College School of Nursing, along with training as a Registered Dental Assistant.
