Krystal Hein

Vice President, People & Culture at ENMAX

Krystal Hein has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Krystal started their career as an HR Assistant at the University of Lethbridge in 2004. In 2005, they briefly worked as an Employment Officer for the Government of Canada before joining Loblaw Companies Limited as an Assistant Labour Relations Manager. Krystal later became a Labour Relations Manager at Loblaw until 2008.

After that, Krystal joined Canadian Pacific Railway where they held positions such as Labour Relations Officer, Labour Relations Manager, and Director/Consultant in Human Resources.

In 2013, they joined ENMAX as a Manager of Employee & Labour Relations, and they held this position until 2019. During their time at ENMAX, they also served as the Senior Manager of Employee Relations and later as the Director of Human Resources for their US affiliate, Versant Power. Most recently, in June 2021, they assumed the role of Vice President of People & Culture at ENMAX.

Krystal Hein completed a Bachelor of Management degree in Human Resources and Industrial Relations from The University of Lethbridge. Currently, they are pursuing an Executive MBA from the Smith School of Business at Queen's University, scheduled to be completed in 2023.
