Christopher Farnham (he/him)

Christopher Farnham has a diverse range of work experience spanning different industries. Christopher is currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Enolink since July 2020. Prior to this, they worked at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard as the Associate Director, Data Generation Pipelines and Operations, where they managed the Data Engineering team to process large health information datasets. During their tenure, data throughput increased significantly, and operational strategies were revamped to double throughput.

Before joining the Broad Institute, Christopher held the role of Director of Integrated Services at VirZOOM Inc. Here, they built and operated customer-facing and internal online services with no major outages. Christopher also established supply-chain and product fulfillment processes for fitness products sold internationally.

Christopher also worked as the Director of Engineering at Kyruus, where they established and led the Engineering Platform team, providing core services shared across customer platforms. At Novartis, they held the position of Global DevOps Lead/Associate Director, leading a global team to provide continuous delivery capabilities to the company's developers worldwide.

Earlier in their career, Christopher served as a Senior Software Engineer/Primary Investigator at Charles River Analytics, where they designed and developed artificial intelligence algorithms and services. Christopher also worked as a Principal Software Engineer at Wrycan, Inc, leading the technical development of content management products for educational publishers.

Additionally, Christopher has experience as an independent software consultant, working with various clients such as Source Medical Solutions, Interactive Factory, Illumina Interactive, and Genome Therapeutics.

Following that, they went on to attend Boston University from 2003 to 2007, completing their Master of Science in Computer Science with a concentration in Security. Their educational background consists of a diverse range of studies, including English and Computer Science with a specific focus on Security.
