Rea Summers

Rea Summers has 19 years of experience in various communication roles for industries that include oil & gas, software development, medical, real estate, and media. She has extensive experience in developing complex strategies related to organizational change management, internal and external marketing campaigns, public relations, and leadership development.

As the Executive Director of Communications for Enovate Upstream, she provides counsel, assistance, and support in furthering Enovate Upstream’s goals and objectives through strategic communications activities designed to promote and enhance the company brand, products, and growth. In addition, she plans, directs, and implements comprehensive communication programs, internally and externally, collaborates with internal teams, manages external vendors, provides leadership to and supervises the organization’s public relations/information function.

Rea graduated with honors from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a B.S. in English. She later obtained a Master of Science in Professional Writing and Technical Communication from the University of Houston.
