John Thorne

John Thorne has a diverse work experience in the field of battery engineering and research. John is currently a Senior Principal Engineer at ENOVIX Corporation since November 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Battery Engineer at Lyten from August 2019 to November 2020. Before joining Lyten, they were a Battery Scientist at Imprint Energy from May 2018 to August 2019. John also worked as a Battery Material Scientist at EoCell Inc. from October 2017 to May 2018. Prior to their industry experience, they conducted research as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Research Scientist at Caltech from February 2016 to September 2017. John Thorne's career in battery engineering started with their role as a Teaching Assistant at Dalhousie University, where they worked from September 2008 to April 2015. Outside of their employment, they have also worked as a Private Tutor since September 2010.

John Thorne completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physics, studying at Dalhousie University from 2010 to 2015.
