Eric Chen has a diverse work experience in the field of computational chemistry and scientific development. Eric started their career as a Graduate Research Assistant in Experimental Biochemistry at the Chinese Academy of Sciences from June 2012 to June 2016. Following this, they co-founded Beacon Tutoring, LLC in February 2015 and served as a Co-Founder until August 2016. Eric then joined The Graduate Center, City University of New York in August 2016 for graduate research in Computational Chemistry, which they pursued until August 2021. From September 2021 to February 2023, they worked at Roivant Sciences as a Computational Chemist and Scientific Developer. Currently, Eric holds the position of Senior Scientist and Scientific Developer in Computational Chemistry at Ensem Therapeutics, starting from May 2023.
Eric Chen completed their education in a chronological manner. Eric pursued their Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology from Nankai University from 2009 to 2013. Following this, they attended the Chinese Academy of Sciences as a Graduate Student specializing in Proteomics from 2013 to 2016. Finally, Eric Chen obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computational Chemistry from The Graduate Center, City University of New York, where they studied from 2016 to 2021.
