Roberto Negro

Roberto Negro has a diverse background in auditing and internal audit roles. Roberto is currently working as the Group Vice President of Internal Audit at Enstar Group since June 2021. Prior to this, they served as an Internal Auditor for the London Market Division at Newline Group from October 2017 to May 2021. In this role, Roberto was responsible for managing audits for various entities within the division and reported to the Group Head of Internal Audit and the Audit Committee.

Before joining Newline Group, Roberto worked as an Internal Audit Supervisor at Marsh & McLennan Companies from June 2013 to October 2017. Roberto also gained extensive external auditing experience during their time at EY from September 2010 to June 2013 and PwC from November 2005 to January 2008. Roberto started their career as an intern at the Italian-Czech Chamber of Commerce and Industry from January 2004 to June 2004. Through their work experience, Roberto has developed a strong foundation in auditing and internal audit practices.

Roberto Negro has an education history that includes multiple academic institutions and fields of study. From an unspecified time until 2013, they studied at ACCA without obtaining a specific degree or field of study. From 2000 to 2005, they attended Università Bocconi where they completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, and Economics with a focus on Public Sector Business and Administration. In 2015, they pursued further education at SDA Bocconi, obtaining a Master's degree in the Management of Local Territorial Resources. In the same year, they also received a Certificate of Higher Education from Birkbeck, University of London, specializing in the History of Art and Architecture. In 2021, they acquired the certification of CISA (Certified Information System Auditor) from ISACA. Additionally, Roberto obtained a certification from ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) in 2015.
