David Nestor

EVP, COO at Enterprise Mobility

David Nestor, Executive Vice President of Global Operations for Enterprise Holdings Inc., oversees the company’s global rental operations, franchising, business development, Entegral and human resource efforts.

Nestor began his career with Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Dallas in 1985 as a Management Trainee, after graduating from Wright State University with a bachelor’s degree in marketing. Over the next several years, he held positions of increasing responsibility before eventually being promoted to Area Manager for the company’s Dallas subsidiary.

Nestor moved to Chicago as Regional Vice President in 1993, and in 1996 he became Chicago’s Vice President of Rental. In 2001, Nestor was promoted to the top job with Enterprise Rent-A-Car’s Nevada subsidiary. Two years later, he moved to the company’s worldwide headquarters in St. Louis as Corporate Vice President, overseeing the company’s Southeast subsidiaries.

In 2004, Nestor was promoted to Senior Vice President and, in 2008, he assumed responsibility for the company’s West Coast operations. In 2013, he picked up the additional responsibility of the company’s airport operations. In 2016, Nestor was promoted to Senior Vice President of North American Operations overseeing the company’s operations in the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico. Nestor assumed his current role of Executive Vice President of Global Operations in 2019.

Nestor is a former board member for Whitfield School. Currently, he is a member of the board of directors for Our Little Haven, an organization committed to providing a safe, secure and healing environment for children suffering from the tragedy of abuse.
