Arna Karick

Arna Karick, PhD, is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in strategy, operations, and information design. Currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist on the strategy team at EstimateOne since August 2022, Arna contributes to developing an industry-standard procurement platform for the construction sector. Alongside this role, Arna is the creator of *May Contain Data*, an exploration of information design and data storytelling, and has held significant leadership positions, including Director of Strategy & Operations at RHoK Australia until December 2022. Arna's background includes consultancy roles and data science projects with organizations such as Paper Giant and Omdena. Arna holds a PhD in Astronomy and multiple degrees from the University of Melbourne, transitioning from academia to technology while maintaining a strong commitment to social good.
