Karen Tao

Karen Tao is an experienced Data Engineer at Envato, joining the company in February 2022. Previous to this role, Karen took a career break for travel throughout Continental Europe, the UK, and Ireland, extending due to border closures in Australia. From March 2020 to July 2021, Karen worked as an Implementation Engineer in Digital Analytics at comparethemarket.com, focusing on Adobe Analytics and other tools within the Digital Analytics team. Prior to that, Karen held the position of Senior Engineer in Personalisation Engineering at IAG, where architecting and implementing solutions for analytics and personalization across various brands were key responsibilities. Earlier experience includes a consultant role at 2DataFish NSW PTY LTD. Karen holds a Bachelor of Science in IT and Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from the University of Technology Sydney, as well as a degree in International Studies from Sapporo University.
