Eric Hammond

Eric Hammond is an experienced professional in environmental health and safety, currently serving as a Staff Scientist II and Laboratory Safety Program Manager at Environmental Health & Engineering since June 2022. Prior to this role, Eric worked as a Consulting Safety Officer at Safety Partners, Inc. from June 2020 to March 2022, and held various positions at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from April 2011 to June 2020, including Assistant Officer and Environmental Technologist. Eric began their career at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute as an Environmental Health and Safety Officer from March 2005 to March 2008, and previously worked as an Environmental Health and Safety Tech 2 at Veolia Environmental Services from September 2003 to March 2005. Eric holds a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, earned between 2000 and 2003.
