Asha Panwar

Asha Panwar is an experienced professional in environmental management, currently serving as Assistant Vice President at Environmental Management Centre LLP since April 2021. Prior to this role, Asha worked as a Senior Project Officer at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras from May 2018 to February 2021. Asha's academic background includes a PhD candidacy at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay from January 2012 to February 2018, with a thesis focused on 'Life Cycle Thinking for Sustainable Waste Management in India' under the supervision of Dr. Prasad Modak. Asha also held the position of Scientist Gr IV(2) in the Eco-restoration Division at NEERI-CSIR from September 2010 to July 2011, contributing to projects related to the remediation of hazardous substances. Asha earned a Master’s Degree in Environmental Engineering and Management from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, in 2010.
