Sandra Cortés Acosta

Environmental Economist at EnviroStrat

Sandra Cortés Acosta is an accomplished Environmental Economist with extensive experience in policy research and evaluation. Currently employed at EnviroStrat since January 2021, Sandra previously held positions as a Fellow Researcher and Guest Researcher at Motu Economic and Public Policy Research from February 2019 to January 2021, and as a PhD Graduate Student at Victoria University of Wellington from February 2016 to August 2020, where a Doctor of Philosophy in Environmental Studies was earned. Sandra's earlier roles include consulting for the International Organization for Migration, working as an Economist at the Departamento Nacional de Planeación, and serving as a Research Assistant at various institutions including Fedesarrollo and Econometría Consultores. Academic credentials include a Master's in Economics from Universidad de Los Andes and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Universidad Externado de Colombia.
