Monica Alatorre

Monica Alatorre is the Director of Development & Communications at Envision Education. Monica previously served as the Director of Communications and Grant Writing for The Hawn Foundation from June 2012 to June 2013. In this role, they collaborated with the CEO and program staff to develop strategic development and programmatic plans for the organization, researched and identified funding sources, conducted outreach to potential foundations and corporations, and wrote grant proposals and letters of interest for The Hawn Foundation’s social-emotional learning programs. Monica also managed development support tools, such as databases, filing systems and calendars to track donations and deadlines, and developed and implemented social media campaigns to increase local, regional, national, and international support for the organization.

Monica Alatorre has a Bachelor of Arts from Saint Mary's College of California and a bachelor's from UC Santa Barbara.

Their manager is Jillian Juman, Chief Executive Officer. Monica Alatorre works with Anna Kogan - Director of Finance, Steven Mathis - Envision Academy High School Interim Principal, and Sele Nadel-Hayes - COO.
