Ian Burns, MBA, CPA

Ian Burns is an MBA and CPA with extensive work experience in finance, tax, and accounting. Ian currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at EOTECH, where they oversee financial operations. Prior to this, they were the Vice President of Finance at Conlan Tires Co. and the Tax Director at Central Transport LLC, where they managed the tax function for multiple entities. Ian has also worked as a Tax Manager at PKC Group Plc, a Senior Tax Analyst at Ally Financial Inc., and a Tax Associate at Grant Thornton LLP. Ian gained valuable analytical abilities and technical skills while working for these companies. Ian started their career as a Member Service Representative at Mortgage Center L.L.C. and a Tax Accountant at Hantz, Randazzo and Associates, and gained early experience as an Accounting Intern at the Visiting Nurse Association of S.E. Michigan.

Ian Burns earned their Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accountancy from Western Michigan University in 2009. In 2011, they completed their Master of Business Administration degree in Finance from Walsh College. Ian also holds a certification as a Certified Public Accountant from the State of Michigan.
