Daniel Dawson

Daniel Dawson has a wealth of experience in the Information Technology field. Starting in 2003, they worked as an Academic Computer Consultant at Trinity University. In 2008, they joined CGI as an Information Technology Support Representative, where they provided tier one support for hardware and software problems, managed exchange accounts using Microsoft Exchange Server, and resolved problems without allowing them to escalate. In 2010, they worked as a Technical Support Representative at Telenetwork, providing Tier One support remotely to multiple clients regarding internet software and hardware, and mediating problems without allowing escalation. That same year, they also worked as an Information Technology Service Representative at Goldbelt Raven, providing assistance with Tier 1 issues on incoming calls, ensuring proper routing for escalated issues, and performing remote troubleshooting for installs and repairs. In 2012, they returned to Trinity University as a Remote Computer Consultant. In 2014, they joined USAA as a Product Owner, where they worked directly with a team of 8 developers to turn business desires into well defined requirements, worked with business partners to prioritize work and communicate timelines for delivery, and ensured the team was able to function at peak efficiency. Finally, in 2022, they joined Episode Six as a Technical Project Manager, where they worked with the Client Management Team to break up external requests into manageable, valuable work packages, worked with the Developer team to break down work packages into component parts, and communicated regularly on project status and team availability to ensure efficiency.

Daniel Dawson received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Trinity University between 2011 and 2014. Prior to that, they received a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Trinity University between 2003 and 2007.
