Thomas Hengstmann

Thomas Hengstmann has a strong background in quality operations and management. Thomas is currently the Head of Global Quality Operations at Eppendorf Group since 2023. Prior to that, they gained experience at Hilti Group where they held multiple roles including Quality Business Excellence Manager, Head of Quality, and Quality Manager from 2011 to 2023. Before joining Hilti Group, they worked at BMW Group in various roles related to quality engineering and procurement from 2002 to 2011. Thomas Hengstmann started their career at Universität Hamburg as a research assistant from 1998 to 2001.

Thomas Hengstmann received their Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in Physics from the University of Hamburg, where they studied from 1993 to 2001. Additionally, from 1999 to 2002, they pursued a Diploma in Business Physics (Wirtschaftswissenschaftliches Zusatzstudium für Ingenieure und Naturwissenschaftler) at FernUniversität in Hagen.
