Chi-Chi Bello

Chi-Chi Bello has a diverse and extensive work experience. Starting in 2013, Chi-Chi worked at Under Armour as an Art Director, collaborating with senior creative professionals to create impactful brand experiences. In 2014, Chi-Chi joined AKQA as a Senior Art Director for Jordan.com, leading a team and delivering various projects for the global platform. From 2015 to 2018, Chi-Chi worked at eBay as a Senior Art Director, specializing in brand creative.

In 2019, Chi-Chi joined Figure as a Product Designer and later transitioned to a role at Free Association as a Designer. The following year, Chi-Chi co-founded Canairy, working as a Product Co-Founder until 2020.

Returning to Figure in 2020, Chi-Chi resumed work as a Senior Product Designer, responsible for designing and maintaining enterprise-level design systems. They also facilitated the implementation of accessibility guidelines and collaborated with internal and external teams. Lastly, in 2023, Chi-Chi moved to Equi, assuming the position of Lead Product Designer.

Chi-Chi Bello completed a Master's degree in Integrated Innovation for Products and Services at Carnegie Mellon University from 2018 to 2019. Before that, from 2001 to 2005, they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Graphic Design from the California Institute of the Arts. Chi-Chi also attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 1999 to 2001, studying Electronic Media, Arts, & Communication, but it is unknown whether they obtained a degree from there. Additionally, Chi-Chi acquired additional certifications, including the IAAP Certified Professionals in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC) from IAAP - International Association of Accessibility Professionals in May 2022 and an edX Verified Certificate for Introduction to Web Accessibility from edX in March 2021.
