Alexander Stein

Alexander Stein currently serves as the Global Head of Mergers & Acquisitions at LyondellBasell, a position held since July 2023. Prior experience includes a decade at Moelis & Company, where Alexander ascended from Associate to Executive Director in Investment Banking, actively engaging in all transaction execution phases. Previous roles include participation in due diligence at Beyond Capital Fund and portfolio management at J.P. Morgan Asset Management. Alexander began a career in investment analysis at State Street Bank, managing significant fund valuations and accounting. Academically, Alexander holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BS in Economics and Finance from Boston College.
