Michael Wallis-Brown

Michael Wallis-Brown currently serves as Vice President and Global Head of Mobile Financial Services at Ericsson, a position held since October 2023. With extensive experience in the tech and finance sectors, Michael has been a Board Advisor for Bioproton Pty Ltd since October 2016, focusing on global growth strategies, and an Investor and Board Member at BAIA since March 2019. Previous roles include Chief Commercial Officer and Board Advisor at Judo Payments, Founder and CEO of Tapp Group, and Vice President of International Growth at Prove. Michael's early career featured leadership roles at Openwave Systems and Nokia, where Michael significantly contributed to revenue growth and strategic initiatives, as well as at IBM, focusing on wireless software and services. Michael holds an Executive MBA from AGSM @ UNSW Business School and a Bachelor of Social Science from the University of Cape Town.
