Carlos Pereyra

Regional CEO for Latin America & the Caribbean at ERM

Carlos Pereyra is the current Regional CEO for Latin America and the Caribbean at ERM. Carlos has previous experience as an environmental contractor, managing partner, and production manager. Carlos has a degree in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University.

Carlos began their environmental career as a project engineer for Waste Management in the Latin American region. Carlos then transitioned to L'Oréal, where they managed environmental health and safety for the company. In 1996, Carlos became the environmental chief at Dow Chemical.

In 2000, Carlos joined ERM as a partner. Carlos became the Latin America & Caribbean Region CEO in 2006 and has been in their current role since 2009. Under their leadership, ERM has provided environmental services to oil and gas firms in the region.

Carlos Pereyra has a degree in Business English Communications and Negotians from Thunderbird School of Global Management. Carlos also has a degree in Strategic management from University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business. Additionally, they have an MBA from Universidad del CEMA. Lastly, they are an Engineer with a degree in Mechanical & Environmental Engineering from University of Buenos Aires.
