Lizzael Villar

Lizzael Villar has been working in the software development field since 2002. Lizzael began their career as a Software Developer for multiple companies. From 2009 to 2016, they held the role of Professor at the University of Pinar del Rio. In 2015, they became a Senior Software Developer at Xmovo Group, Inc. and then a Software Engineer at Ultimate Software in 2016. In the same year, they also took on the role of Senior Full Stack Developer at BrandsMart USA, where they trained and mentored developers, designed custom and scalable solutions, drove requirements gathering and analysis, and oversaw projects as a technical project manager. From 2018 to 2020, they worked as a Senior Full Stack Developer at Park West Gallery, where they leveraged diverse tools and technologies to improve user experience and functionality, designed client-side/server-side architecture, wrote effective APIs, and managed relationships and performance of on-site and offshore developers. In 2020, they also took on the role of Senior Full Stack Developer for a private project under an NDA. In 2021, they joined SailPoint as a Software Engineer, having previously worked for ERP Maestro, Inc. which was acquired by SailPoint.

Lizzael Villar has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Havana and an Engineer's degree in Computer Software Engineering from the University of Pinar del Rio. In September 2020, they obtained a Triplebyte Certified Generalist Software Engineer certification from Triplebyte and also has a Hackerrank Profile.
