Edward Van Wezel

Edward Van Wezel has a long and varied work history. Edward began their career in 1997 as a Project Manager at Johnson & Johnson. In 2001, they became Managing Director at Macrozyme BV. In 2006, they founded and became Managing Partner at BGV (BioGeneration Ventures). In 2013, they became a Founding Investor and member of the Supervisory Board at Acerta Pharma B.V. In 2017, they became a Board Director at Escalier Biosciences, Scenic Biotech, and AZAFAROS B.V. In 2018, they became a Board Director at Confo Therapeutics. In 2020, they became a Director at TigaTx and a Board Director at dualyx.

Edward Van Wezel has studied Chemistry at Utrecht University and Biochemical process technology at Delft University of Technology.
