Daniel Lynes has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Daniel started their career in 2005 as a Technical Lead at 24/7 Communications Holding Co Ltd, where they were responsible for telephone and data cabling, Voice over IP administration, and server administration.

In 2007, Daniel took on a part-time contract position as a VoIP Engineer at Total Connect Telephone, where they administered Asterisk CPE's and softswitches, managed tenant phone lines, and handled moves, adds, changes, and removals reports.

From 2009 to 2012, they worked as a Software Developer and PC Technical Support at ITS Technical Services West, providing support for Windows software and PC hardware, as well as PLC/laptop connectivity.

In the same year, Daniel started their own company as a self-employed Software Developer, specializing in custom software development for industrial automation, machine vision, and property protection. Daniel also collaborated with PLC programmers and machine vision algorithm writers for end-to-end solutions.

In 2010, Daniel joined PV Labs as a Software Developer, focusing on analysis and stabilization of multithreaded, distributed C and C++ code bases. Daniel also automated repetitive tasks by writing scripts in bash, perl, python, sed, and awk.

In 2013, Daniel became the Principal Consultant at Hammer Software, where they worked on J2EE development, software development for embedded applications on the Raspberry Pi platform, Linux administration, Asterisk administration, and tier 3 support for Asterisk-based telecommunications servers. Daniel also implemented a Jenkins, Reviewboard, and Google Test continuous integration platform.

Daniel served as the IT Director at plan lamina consolidated group inc from 2013 to 2015, and as a VoIP Engineer at Inline Communications Inc. from 2015 to 2017.

Currently, Daniel works as a System Administrator II at eSentire from 2022 onwards.

Throughout their career, Daniel has acquired certifications such as MTCNA, MTCRE, and MTCWE, demonstrating their expertise in networking and telecommunications technologies.

Daniel Lynes, MTCNA, MTCRE, MTCWE, has a diverse education history in the field of network engineering and telecommunications. In 1992 to 1994, they attended Confederation College, where they pursued studies in General Business, Electronics Technician, and Electronics Technologist. In 2013, Daniel completed a course in Mobotix Camera Programming and Integration via the Thin Client at Building Technologies (2011) Inc. In 2014, they participated in a program called "Real Beauty in Real Time - Creating Modern User Experiences with QNX and Qt" at International Career. Furthermore, in 2015, they obtained the certification of MTCNA (MikroTik Certified Network Associate) from MikroTik. In 2017, Daniel completed the 3CX Advanced Certified Engineer v15 course from 3CX, specializing in telecommunications. Additionally, in 2018, they received the MTCRE (MikroTik Certified Routing Engineer) certification from MikroTik. Daniel further enhanced their skills and knowledge in network engineering by attaining the MTCWE (MikroTik Certified Wireless Engineer) certification from MikroTik in November 2018. These educational achievements demonstrate Daniel's commitment to expanding their expertise in network engineering and telecommunications.
