Tyson Rauch, CISSP has over 16 years of diverse work experience in the field of information security. Tyson is currently employed as a Principal Security Strategist at eSentire, where they combine their technical expertise with senior management skills to provide information security programs, risk management, and regulatory guidance to clients. In this role, they collaborate with peers on the Advisory Services team to develop comprehensive security program roadmaps and conduct individual assessments and services. Tyson also offers consultation to clients, aligning their information security program needs with business, regulatory, and contractual requirements.

Before this role, Tyson served as a Team Lead, External Penetration Testing, conducting penetration tests and social engineering engagements for strategic clients. Tyson also conducted internal infrastructure penetration testing remotely. Earlier, as a Security Specialist, they performed external and internal penetration testing and supported the physical security team during red team engagements. Tyson made improvements to the External Penetration Test report template during their tenure.

Tyson also held the position of Manager of Information Security at the City of London, Canada, where they managed the Information Security team and guided the strategic and tactical direction of Information Security for the corporation. Additionally, Tyson worked at Fanshawe College as an IT Security Specialist, where they played a significant role in selecting and implementing SIEM appliances and antivirus solutions. Tyson conducted incident response and forensic investigations and provided recommendations for remediation. Tyson also served as a Professor, teaching various courses related to information security. Before that, they worked as a Systems Support Specialist, responsible for the administration and support of Windows servers, Active Directory forests, and providing assistance to area technicians.
