Spyridon Katsoulis

Spyridon Katsoulis has a diverse work experience, starting in 2011 when they worked as a Software Development Engineer for Amadeus IT Group. During their time there, they were a lead developer for the urgent redesign of the back-end that handled parallel queuing requests to the database. Spyridon then moved on to Double Negative in 2016, where they worked as a Research and Development Lead Engineer in the Production Technology department. Their role included overseeing the creation of the Integration/Middleware team and developing various skills such as system design, project management, and effective communication. In 2019, they joined Mimica Automation as a Senior Software Engineer, contributing to the automation process by continuously recording and analyzing employee workflows. Their work focused on introducing agile and modular methodologies to guide the evolution of the product. Currently, Spyridon Katsoulis is working at ESG Book, formerly Arabesque S-Ray, since 2020. Spyridon started as a Director of Engineering, leading a team of engineers and managers, and has helped the company grow from a startup to a scaleup. Their goal is to establish ESG Book as a globally recognized sustainability fintech company.

Spyridon Katsoulis completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science at Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon from 2005 to 2010. Spyridon then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Informatics at The University of Edinburgh from 2010 to 2011. In 2013 to 2014, they attended MetFilm School for a Part-Time Filmmaking Course, focusing on cinematography and film/video production.
