Pooya Shahbazian

Pooya Shahbazian has a diverse range of work experience in the software industry. Pooya is currently working as a Principal Solutions Architect at ESW since 2024. Prior to that, they held the role of Tech Lead and Senior Software Engineer at LetsGetChecked from 2020 to 2024. In this role, they led a team through a migration process, optimized team performance, and reduced development costs while ensuring high-quality software.

Before joining LetsGetChecked, Pooya worked as a Lead Software Architect at Adonis ESD Co. from 2019 to 2020. Pooya led a team in developing a real-time ATM monitoring app and revamped a legacy app by implementing new architecture and design. From 2013 to 2019, they worked as a Lead Software Architect at Asa Co., where they directed software teams in crafting secure applications for customer-facing stock trading platforms, loyalty systems, and broker back-office tools. During their tenure at Asa Co., they also refactored a legacy system to enhance performance and reliability.

Pooya Shahbazian has also worked as a Software Requirement Engineering Course Instructor, Advanced Object-Oriented Design and Design Patterns Instructor, and Agile Methods Instructor at Faratar Az Danesh (Beyond Knowledge) from 2014 to 2019. In addition, they served as a Software Architecture Consultant at Saman Electronic Payment (SEP) from 2017 to 2019.

Earlier in their career, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Intelligent Green Systems (IGS) from 2007 to 2013, an Object-Oriented Analysis and Design Teacher at MAPSA in 2009, a Senior Software Developer at Afranet from 2006 to 2007, and a Software Developer at Zitco from 2002 to 2006.

Pooya Shahbazian obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Software Engineering from Razi University, starting in 1999 and completing in 2003. Prior to that, they earned a Diploma in Mathematics from Razi University High School, which they attended from 1995 to 1999.
