Caroline Maitland has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Caroline began their career in 2006 as an Assistant Software/Verification Engineer at Liberty Information Technology. In 2010, they joined HP Autonomy as a QA Engineer for a brief period. Caroline then moved to Citi, where they held various positions including Testing Intermediate Analyst, IT Quality Intermediate Analyst, and Applications Developer Intermediate Programmer Analyst from 2010 to 2015. In 2015, Caroline joined Lightwell Inc. as a Consultant and later progressed to the role of Senior Consultant before becoming a Lead Consultant. Caroline then worked at State Street as an Engineer / Assistant Vice President from 2018 to 2019. Currently, Caroline is serving as a Senior Software Development Engineer at ESO from November 2019 onwards.

Caroline Maitland's education history begins with their attendance at Queen's University Belfast from 2004 to 2009, where they pursued a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Computer Science.
