Cristian Lavarreda

Cristian Lavarreda has a wealth of experience in the technology industry. Cristian began their career in 1999 as a Senior Consultant at Datum, S.A. In 2005, they became the Research and Development Director at Argos Guatemala. From 2006 to 2009, they were an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala. In 2010, they were the Office Managing Partner at eSource Capital, where they were an authorized Google Partner for enterprise solutions for Latin America and the Caribbean. Cristian also held the role of Oracle Product Manager at Logistica Guatemala and Netsoft de Guatemala from 2010 to 2011. In 2009, they also served as a Consultant at IGSS Instituto Guatemalteco de Seguridad Social.

Cristian Lavarreda obtained a Bachelor in Science in Ciencias de la computación from Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala between 1992 and 1997. Cristian also holds certifications from Qwiklabs as a Google Professional Cloud Architect (obtained in December 2019), from Google as a Google Cloud Certified - Cloud Digital Leader (obtained in October 2022), and as an Associate Cloud Engineer (obtained in April 2019). Additionally, they have an LPI Certification from the Linux Professional Institute and an Oracle Certified Professional from Oracle.
