Miles Lakin has a long and diverse work experience in various roles within the technology and software industry. Miles started their career as a Software Developer at Catalyst International in 1999. After that, they served as a Support Center Manager for two years, providing technical support to customer installations and leading a team. Miles then transitioned to the role of Customer Services Manager, where they negotiated price increases in annual maintenance contracts and ensured a high level of customer support. Miles later became a Project Manager, overseeing a transportation planning and management project and upgrading the warehouse management system.

In 2009, Miles joined JDA Software as a Senior Support Manager, where they managed multiple teams and customer escalations across various software products. Miles was also responsible for reducing case backlogs and received recognition for their exceptional work. Miles continued in this role until 2013 when they were promoted to Senior Cloud Services Manager. In this position, they worked closely with customers to improve their interactions with the company and initiated changes to enhance customer satisfaction.

Miles then moved to Blue Yonder in 2020, where they served as a Senior Cloud Services Manager. Miles'sresponsibilities included incident and problem management during the global rollout of Cloud Enterprise Store Operations software. Miles successfully architected a customer support process that transformed the company's defect management procedures, resulting in improved efficiency.

In 2021, Miles joined REPL Group, Part of Accenture, as a Senior Principal Consultant. Miles took on the role of Section Lead for WMS Managed Services, supported business development in this area, and managed a WMS product development team.

Most recently, Miles started working at Espire Infolabs in 2022 as a Service Delivery Manager.

Miles Lakin obtained their education from the University of Warwick, where they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Chemistry from 1989 to 1992. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including ITIL Foundation Level from AXELOS Global Best Practice in July 2022. Miles Lakin has also completed various training programs and obtained certifications in subjects such as Power BI, Azure for DevOps, collaboration principles and process, customer service, strategic thinking, time management, and many more. These certifications were obtained from institutions like LinkedIn, with completion dates ranging from September 2020 to July 2022.
